The 2020 North-South Shiraz is a blend of 3 Pyrenees vineyards around Moonambel and Landsborough. The fruit was harvested with perfect ripeness and acid balance and was then wild yeast fermented over 2 weeks. It was then basket pressed and left to mature on French oak for 2.5 years. The resulting wine shows lovely elegance, balance and weight. It has aromas of blackberries and violets with notes of cedary oak. The dark fruit and spice flows onto the palate and the oak is well integrated with silky tannins.
