This is the second release of the Amherst Pinot Grigio. The fruit was sourced from a 30 year old vineyard on the hills just outside Moonambel. The grapes were crushed and destemmed before being basket pressed into tank. After fermentation the wine was left on yeast lees for 6 months. The wine is perfect summer drinking, pale straw in colour with flavours and aromas of pears and lemon zest. The palate weight is light, clean and refreshingly dry.
