Rachel’s Rose 2022

Winemakers note:

Named after my lovely wife, Rachel’s Rose is made from 100% Pyrenees grapes, 90% Shiraz and 10% Pinot Gris pressings. The fruit was hand-picked and the whole bunches gently basket pressed and wild yeast fermented. The resulting wine is pale salmon in colour with aromas of red berries and orange blossom. The palate is bursting with flavours of cranberries, strawberries and a delicate apricot element from the pinot gris. It is refreshingly dry with lovely persistence and crisp acidity on the finish making it a wine that will suit many food styles.
